GTFO
Artist: Divine Eve
Album: Vengeful And Obstinate EP
Genre: Mightiest Death Doom around
Released: 2010
Country: USA
Additional Notes: I don’t give a fuck what some cunt on the Metal Archives has to say, this EP is the best of their two, and seeing as they have yet to release a full length, this will have to fucking do. I still strongly suggest getting their other EP ‘As The Angels Weeps’ if you like this though.
-Vogkt
Artist: Blaspherian
Album: Infernal Warriors Of Death
Genre: Blacked Death
Released: 2011
Country: USA (Houston, TX)
Additional Notes: First full length by these guys, and if you liked their EP, you’ll love this. These guys are truly brilliant, and I am loving this album right now.

Artist: Necros Christos
Album: Doom Of The Occult
Genre: Death Metal, with some occult influence
Released: 2011
Country: Germany
Additional Notes: As you may already know, this band are nothing but ultra death/doom madness, with a hint of butt fucking blasphemy. This album will not disappoint, and is a highlight of the year thus far.

We’ve subsequently managed to lose in excess of about 50 followers, and its obviously our fault, but I’m here to make up for it.
I have a host of badass bestial Black, Death, Speed, Stoner, Death Doom and maybe even some Neofolk for your guys coming right up. Be sure to download it all guys, there may even be a couple of rather exclusive links to, lets say, the new Blaspherian and Necros Christos albums? I guess those Unfollowers should’ve stayed loyal.

Artist: Demilich
Album: Nespithe
Genre: Death Metal
Released: 1993
Country: Finland
Additional Notes: Though only releasing one album in their whole career, Demilich’s “Nespithe” (Secret code for: “The spine”), was and still remains one of the most obscure records ever created in the metal genre.
Their lyrics written by vocalist and guitarist Antti Boman, are almost like short uncanny horror stories ultimately leading to mankinds demise.
The musicianship and composition completely fit together with this grand theme of other worldly powers taking shape to bring you to your untimely fate. Completely whirly for a lack of better word, yet deep and destructive.
As for the vocals… Well, you’ll have to hear them for yourself, “indescribable” is the only word for them.
A definite landmark album in the Death Metal genre and a very interesting listen.

- Brandon Keddy (Of Into Oblivion)
Artist: Excoriate
Album: On Pestilent Winds
Genre: Death Thrash
Released: 2009
Country: Germany
Additional Notes: This album is absolutely killer, death metal done right. In the vein of a lot of old school thrash / death metal bands, easily on par with my favourites; Repugnant and Tribulation.
- Heretic
Artist: Sylvus
Album: Sylvus
Genre: Viking/Black
Released: 2011
Country: Canada
Additional Notes: Serious business Viking Black metal right here, a truly great release from some Toronto based guys, and I’d consider it as good as Viking metal gets. Definitely worth a listen.

Artist: Lifelover
Album: Sjukdom
Genre: Depressive Black Metal
Released: 2011
Country: Sweden
Additional Notes: So yeah, with the leak of the new Burzum album I bring you the leak of the new Lifelover album. Essential stuff.
- Heretic
Artist: Burzum
Album: Fallen
Genre: Black Metal
Released: 2011
Country: Norway
Additional Notes; Despite how disappointed I was with Belus, this album has taken be by surprise. Although less melancholy than its predecessor, this album is still superior in my opinion. It harkens back to Burzums roots, and I’d consider this a pretty good release. Also, this link is exclusive to DoD, and very hard to find anywhere else. Thank us later.

Artist: Negative Plane
Album: Stained Glass Revelations
Genre: Black Metal
Released: 2011
Country: USA
Additional Notes: This is a very special album. Literally, this band came out of nowhere and just tore the underground apart with their strange brand of black metal. Took me ages to find this, my CD still hasn’t arrived from Ajna which is a bit disappointing too. Out of all the albums on DoD, this is possibly my most recommended. DOWNLOAD IT NOW.

Artist: Sacrilegious Impalement
Album: Cultus Nex
Genre: Black Metal
Released: 2009
Country: Finland
Additional Notes: Win as fuck Black Metal from Finland, serious war marching stuff. Definitely worth a listen for fans of relatively orthodox BM that doesn’t sound like it was recorded in a caravan beneath a sewage plant.
